ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  The Kennel Technician is responsible for the daily feeding and monitoring of the eating habits of all animals.  The Kennel Technician cleans and disinfects cages, food containers, and water bowls, collects and cleans soiled bedding, and records information such as feeding schedules, appearance and behavior of animals that are boarded. The Kennel Technician also feeds and waters animals according to schedule, walks through and checks each animal for any abnormal conditions, ensures that cages and animals are properly numbered, and all other duties as assigned.

ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: High school diploma or GED.
